Canadians (and others) can try this page, which has the province's rules and regulations for home-based educators, a registration page for "homeschool keypals," a great annotated list of Internet links (including sites originating in the Netherlands and the United Kingdom), and a great quote from Mark Twain: "Don't let school interfere with your education." Based in the United States, this association's site isn't very interactive, but it provides basic information about the association's mission, philosophy, and offerings. An address and telephone number are listed for further details.
Calvert School

An accredited home instruction source long used by United States foreign service personnel, missionaries, and other folks stationed in remote places, this nonprofit organization offers a full nondenominational, nonsectarian curriculum for K-8 students, including advisory teachers, chat rooms, electronic bulletin boards, CD-ROMs, and multimedia resources.
Christian Homeschooling

By far, the most prominent feature of homeschooling Web sites researched is the Christian faith.
Rescue 2010

Rescue 2010 is a movement that endorses homeschooling for Christian families and promotes seeking "common ground" on controversial issues; seeking "safe-passage" for all K-12 children throughout the system by being spiritually and morally unharmed or academically stunted; and organizing Christians in every school district to become involved in their local schools to oversee and ensure the above objectives.
