This instrument has been used by counselors, psychologists, psychiatrists, juvenile justice, and family and children service professionals, as well as school professionals in various pilots. In a relatively non-threatening and open-ended manner, this protocol asks the questions in a way that allows the interview to access such things as the experiencing of, participating in, witnessing of, or being victimized by such things as physical violence or other forms of trauma.
