Rhesus Monkeys-Cayo Santiago

On the Caribbean island of Cayo Santiago (near Puerto Rico), transplanted rhesus monkeys have been studied since the 1930s. On Cayo Santiago, rainwater is collected in large storage tanks and commercial monkey pellets are provided in metal feeders. Here a multimale-multifemale social group visits a food and water station.
