Suppose that you graduated from college, landed the dream job you've always wanted, and can buy your first new car. After doing your homework regarding new cars, you finally decided which car to purchase. You read consumer magazines, examined resale values, and made various important comparisons regarding frequency of repairs, safety, and costs. You decided to buy a new model car called the Coyote. As you walk out the door to make the big purchase, your friend phones. Upon hearing about your decision, she shrieks, "Are you nuts! My cousin bought a Coyote and it broke down all the time.
