Registration Help
How to request access
- Return to the MyDevelopmentLab home page.
- In the "Register or Buy Access" box, click Instructors.
- Click I need to request access.
- Choose the option that best describes your institution (e.g., “Two- or four-year college or university).
- Enter your email address in the fields provided.
- Select Yes, Agree to Terms.
- Fill out the required fields in Step 3, and click Submit. Your request will be submitted to Pearson for validation to ensure your status as an instructor. If your request is approved, an access code will be sent to the email address you provided.
How to register an instructor access code
- Return to the MyDevelopmentLab home page.
- In the "Register or Buy Access" box, click Instructors.
- Click I already have an access code.
- Click I accept after reading the Pearson License Agreement and Privacy Policy.
- Do you have a Pearson Education account?
- If Yes – fill in your username and password (TIP! Choosing Yes and using your existing account will allow you to use the same username and password you use for your other Pearson products)
- If No – Create a username and password per the guidelines provided.
- If Not Sure – Enter your email address and click Search.
- Enter your access code and click Next.
- Check or enter required information in the appropriate fields.
- Review and print your Confirmation and Summary page (a confirmation will also be sent to your email address).TIP! Be sure to take note of your username and password—write them down or save them on your computer in a place you will not forget.

Getting Started
How to log in
- Return to the MyDevelopmentLab home page.
- In the "Log In" box, click the correct button for your platform. Choose the same platform that you chose when you registered.
- Follow the on-screen steps, and enter your Login name and Password in the Fields provided.
- Click Login.
For your students
Please provide your students with the following information to help them register for MyDevelopmentLab:
- Your school's zip code.
- Your platform - MyDevelopmentLab, MyDevelopmentLab Pegasus, or MyDevelopmentLab CourseCompass
- Textbook information - including author, title, and edition.
- A GradeTracker “Class ID ” if you plan to view student progress in GradeTracker. A Class ID will look something like CM123456).
