We at Pearson recognize that times are tough so consider this our stimulus package to you. All student users of MyPoliSciLab are eligible to win a one of five $1,000  scholarships  by using Pearson’s unique video sharing software, MediaShare, to submit a four-minute "video letter" to President Obama.

ON JANUARY 20, 2009, BARACK OBAMA was inaugurated as the 44th President of the United States. He now confronts a host of pressing issues facing our country and world. Here is a chance to tell him what you think!

Do you feel the President is focused on your problems? How do you feel about his recent policies and platforms on major issues?

Create and submit a video letter to President Obama and be entered to win one of five $1,000 scholarships. In your video letter you will make an argument to the President with the goal of convincing him to focus on a specific issue you feel is most important. If the President is already working on the issue, argue why he should change his approach. To do this you will need access to MyPoliSciLab, a state-of-the-art online learning tool for American Government students and instructors that combines content with multimedia activities to make learning more fun and effective.
