The contains much of the material found on this web site, but goes beyond this site in presenting exercises, quizzes and tutorials -- as well as information and commentary about current issues in journalism. It is maintained and updated regularly by the author.

The author is the author or co-author of five journalism texts:

• Journalism: Who, What, When, Where, Why and How (2005)

• Web Journalism: Practice and Promise of a New Medium (2004)

• Writing for the Mass Media (5th edition) (2002). A new edition is expected to be available in 2005.

• The Complete Editor (revised edition) (2000). A new edition is expected to be available in 2005.

• Infographics: A Guide for Journalists (1997)
