In Class Ideas

Before students begin this assignment, we show several good and bad examples of appropriate presentations. We ask students to critique presentations in a large group setting and to discuss the good and bad elements of each presentation shown.

We then discuss how to create pages in the presentation that are consistent and effective. We warn students about overdoing "special eeffects" that overwhelm the content of the presentation itself.
